Choose NTK because:

The Ignition Knock (Detonation) Sensor monitors vibrations caused by engine knock or detonation to alter the ignition timing and prevent detonation. A piezoelectric crystal generates a varying voltage based upon engine vibration intensity to delay ignition timing to help prevent severe and costly engine damage. Reasons for replacement include check engine light illumination, engine hesitation, poor fuel economy or failed emissions test.

Characteristics include:

ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY: Manufactured to operation performance standards to meet or exceed OE fit, form, and function to ensure proper ignition timing.
THE NTK DIFFERENCE: Reinforced components are used to reduce the chance of part failure and prevent corrosion and moisture penetration. Shielded harness prevents electrical interference.

Looks and feels great once installed. Sliders were loose but the pads were so tight in them even with lube I had to push/work them in. So that being said they did not slide. I would have had to grind down the tabs, which I didn't want to do. Eventually I made them fit. Wear gloves with these semi metallic pads as the will leave slivers in your skin. A great product so far, no rattles or stickiness....recommended for volts and other like gm vehicles.
