The Air Charge Temperature Sensor is used by the Engine Control Unit (ECU) to measure air density for fuel mixture control, which allows it to make continuous adjustments to the engine's air / fuel mixture for maximum fuel efficiency.
NTK's Air Charge Temperature Sensors are manufactured to operational performance standards to meet or exceed OE fit, form and function to ensure proper monitoring of air temperature entering the engine.
The Engine Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor measures the temperature of air that enters the engine to modify the air-fuel ratio that is injected into the combustion chamber of the engine.
NTK's Engine Intake Manifold Temperature Sensors are manufactured to operational performance standards to meet or exceed OE fit, form and function to ensure proper fuel adjustments for varying air temperatures.

Looks and feels great once installed. Sliders were loose but the pads were so tight in them even with lube I had to push/work them in. So that being said they did not slide. I would have had to grind down the tabs, which I didn't want to do. Eventually I made them fit. Wear gloves with these semi metallic pads as the will leave slivers in your skin. A great product so far, no rattles or stickiness....recommended for volts and other like gm vehicles.
